Third Ministries is a parish sponsored ministry and is based out of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Simi Valley.
Our Regional Team:
Joshua is a Core member at St. Rose of Lima, who has been involved in Youth, and Young Adult Ministry since 2012. Joshua also served on the road as a missionary with NET Ministries as the Male Team Leader for Team 5, year ('15-'16) Right now Joshua is pursuing a bachelors in Psychology, and hopes to follow with a Masters in Occupational Therapy. Joshua shares a passion for Apologetics, New Evangelization, and anything John Paul II related.
Adam is the Youth Minister at St. Rose of Lima in Simi Valley and has his Masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Adam works with teens in ministry and also in therapy through Stillpoint Family Resources. Adam also worked with adult perpetrators of domestic violence for several years as a therapist in Oxnard. Being born and raised in Simi Valley California. Adam is active in youth and young adult ministry in the Santa Barbara region and has a love for Apologetics, the New Evangelization, and integrating theology and psychology. James Pratt has been active in ministry since 2006. James attended California State University Channel Islands and was the Catholic Newman Club president there for several years. James has worked with teens as a Core leader in Youth Ministry for 10 years and is pursuing a career as a high school math teacher. James loves math and serving his church and community.
Marco Svoboda (Bamenda, Cameroon Missionary)
Marco Svoboda served as a core team member for Catholic Central, the young adult group that preceded Third Ministries. He has been involved with young adult ministry in various capacities for almost a decade; among which include facilitating a meditation center at a university. Practicing and sharing meditation in the Christian tradition have been at heart of his ministry because he sees the importance of deepening ones prayer life as essential to an intimate relationship with Christ. He is currently on missionary assignment with the Lay Mission-Helpers Association serving as a Campus Minister at a Catholic university in the Archdiocese of Bamenda, Cameroon. Please keep him in prayer as he seeks to answer the call of discipleship.
